How to Opt Out of the Main Sites That Track You

Written by Gary North on April 2, 2012

We know that our Internet shopping and viewing activities are being tracked. Private data-collections firms collect this information and then rent it.

The federal government can get access to this information.

So, it pays to spend a few minutes opting out. While it’s time consuming, it is possible. I’ll recommend a site you can use to do this rather easily. Sadly, hardly anyone will ever hear about this or do it.

Here is a list of companies that track us.

Intelius.com

Acxiom.com

MyLife.com

ZabaSearch.com

Spoke.com

BeenVerified.com

PeekYou.com

USSearch.com

PeopleFinders.com

PeopleLookup.com

PeopleSmart.com

PrivateEye.com

WhitePages.com

USA-People-Search.com

Spokeo.com

PublicRecordsNow.com

DOBSearch.com

Radaris.com
